The thesis examines construction projects with the efficiency to be in line with the sustainable development principles. The aim of the thesis is to suggest a complex model of sustainable justification and the algorithm for its practical application to be applied to construction projects. To apply multi-objective decision making methods to the complex model and suggest its combinations to be used for the assessment of sustainable efficiency of construction projects.

The thesis comprises an introduction, three chapters, general conclusions, reference list, and the list of scientific publications on the topic of the thesis.

The introductory chapter discusses the problem being studied, relevance of the thesis, describes the subject of studies, formulates the goal and tasks of the paper, defines the originality and novelty of dissertation, and defendable statements. At the end of the introduction there are statements and publications 
presented by the author at scientific conferences and structure of the thesis.

The first chapter of the thesis provides an overview of scientific literature sources closely related to the studied topic, discloses the main principles of 
sustainable development and sustainable construction. Analyses objectives of the construction market participants, needs of consumers of products developed in the course of construction work execution, efficiency of construction process management and range of problems closely related to construction problems. This chapter presents the overview of sustainable construction assessment principles as well as the application of MCDM on the subject of the thesis. Conclusions and objectives are formulated and specified at the end of the chapter.

In the second chapter author describes the sustainable development criteria systems, classification of MCDM, analysis of their applicability to the resolution of the aim of the thesis, and calculation methodologies. This chapter also 
includes particular suggestions regarding combinations of multi-objective 
assessment method to be allied to the analysis of construction project efficiency. A model of construction project’s sustainability is being presented as well.

The third chapter is dedicated to practical application of complex assessment model developed for the evaluation of construction project sustainability.

Nine scientific articles were on the topic of the thesis; five of them are 
referred in scientific journals included into Thomson Reuters Webof Knowledge (ISI Web of Science) database and four of them have been published in journals of scientific conferences.
