Physical exercises may contribute to one’s personal perfection. However, inadequate exercising may not produce positive results. The book will help you to train in a goal-oriented way, to select the most adequate exercises, to set the exercising rates precisely, and to harmonise your exercises. Yet it is equally important to be aware of and be able to develop one’s physical powers as well as to monitor relevant changes and the efficiency of physical loads. A number of tests and research methods have been developed for this purpose. They may help the reader to evaluate the level of his or her physical preparedness, functional capacity, and define psychomotor functions. Taking into account the basic physiological and pedagogic laws, the material, contained in this book, may be used individually for the scheduling of one’s training activities, and the selection of exercises and relevant training methods. Put most simply, it may be used for the benefit of one’s professional career, active leisure, and the strengthening of one’s health. The publication is intended for college students, physical training teachers, and physically active people in general.
