This dissertation analyses the toxicity determined by nonstandard and standard research equipment and methods of smouldering and flaming pine timber which is non-treated and treated with fire retardant solutions; improvements for computer software for hybrid model of fire are presented. Adaptation of HMF for modelling of the emission of toxic gaseous combustion products from pine timber non-treated and treated with fire retardant solutions during thermal destruction is introduced.

The main tasks solved in the work: to determine and compare by nonstandard and standard research equipment and methods the toxicity of smouldering and flaming pine timber which is non-treated and treated with fire retardant solutions; to improve and adapt the computer software for hybrid model of fire for modelling of the toxicity during the combustion of pine timber non-treated and treated with fire retardant solutions; to model the toxicity of burning pine timber non-treated and treated with fire retardant solutions by using the computer software for hybrid model of fire and compare it with the toxicity of pine timber non-treated and treated with fire retardant solutions modelled by the computer fire dynamic simulator and the results of experimental tests.

The work consists of the introduction, five chapters, conclusions, references, a list of publications on the topic of the dissertation, summary in English.

Nine scientific papers were published on the topic of the dissertation: one of them was published in the science journal included in the database of ISI Web of Science, two were published in the science journals included in the database of Iconda, Index Copernicus, two were published in other science journals, four were publiched in the reviewed materials of international and national conferences. Four reports of the topic of the dissertation were published in the conferences.
