The dissertation examines the airspace consolidation possibilities by using existing space discretisation and clusterisation methods.

The research object is the formation of regional airspace blocks according to traffic flows. The aim of the dissertation is to develope the methodology for the formation of regional airspace blocks with reference to the traffic flows.

The dissertation aims to solve a few problems of the organization of the regional airspace, associated with the formation of conditions for more efficient operation of the air traffic management system. The objectives are formulated according to the expectations of the airspace users, the relevance of ensuring more efficient flights and are associated with the transport efficiency improvement problem.

The dissertation consists of an introduction, four chapters, a summary of the results, the lists of reference and the author's publications on the dissertation topic and six appendices.
