Description

The dissertation analyzes techniques, methods and means that would allow reduce losses of electric power and fuel for traditional structure electric locomotives to the maximum, when such losses are incurred during freight and passenger transportation by railway transport. Therefore, the paper provides integrated means for reduction of losses in those areas.

The final part of the dissertation provides general conclusions. The author have published 13 scientific articles for the topic of the dissertation: 5 articles in ISI WEB of Science magazines; 1 article in other magazines referred to in international data bases; 4 articles in reviewed science magazines; 3 articles in reviewed materials of international conference.
