In the dissertation, the problem of air pollution by solid particles (SP) is analyzed. The main object of the research is a cylindrical multichannel cyclone for air purification from SP equipment. The aim of the dissertation is researches and simulation of multichannel cyclone, possessing half-rings of different radius with adjusted clearances in single-phase or double-phase flow aerodynamic processes. In the graduation dissertation, several basic objectives are being solved: determination of the dependence of overall efficiency in the cyclone on air velocity, dispersity, density and concentration of solid particles, number of cylindrical half-rings; performance of researches on cleaning of small dispersive solid particles from the flow by determining the optimal spacing of half-rings as well as simulation of single-phase and two-phase flow aerodynamic processes.

8 articles on the dissertation topics have been published: three articles have been published in the compendium of articles, included into Web of Science ISI database; four articles have been published in other international reviewed data bases, one article – in the reviewed publication of Lithuanian international conferences. 5 speeches on the graduation dissertation topic have been made in national and international conferences. Two patent applications have been submitted: multichannel cyclone (helical housing). The State Intellectual Property Department of Ukraine.
