The research object is a complex evaluation of passive houses knowledge and decision making, also interested parties striving to attain their goals and micro, mezzo and macro environments as integral whole. As a tool for complex evaluation of passive houses knowledge and in decision making to select the most effective alternative, a multiple criteria decision support system is being suggested. The main goal of the thesis is to create a passive houses knowledge model and to create a decision support system in choosing a passive house alternative using multiple criteria analysis and multiple criteria multivariant design methods.
The dissertation comprises an introduction, three chapters, general conclusions, a list of references, and a list of the author’s publications on the topic of this dissertation.
The introduction discusses the research problem and relevance, describes the research object, states the research goal and tasks, outlines the research methodology and original scientific novelty, points out the practical significance of the research findings, and states the propositions to be defended. The introduction ends with an overview of the author’s articles and conference presentations on the topic of this dissertation, and an outline of the dissertation’s structure.
Chapter 1 presents a review of the scientific literature and an analysis of the knowledge and models related to passive houses.
Chapter 2 presents the conceptual passive houses knowledge model developed by the author, describes its main elements in detail, and discusses their interactions.
Chapter 3 deals with multivariant design and multiple criteria analysis of the components of a passive houses. It reviews the preparation procedure for input data, describes the suggested model for multivariant design and multiple criteria analysis of the components of passive houses, and presents the process and methodology of analysis. Multiple criteria decision support system for passive houses knowledge designed on the basis of the model proposed by the author. The chapter deals in detail with the system’s elements and explains the principle of its operation.
The main research findings were discussed in two scientific conferences. The findings of the thesis were outlined in five scientific publications, including two articles listed in scientific journals listed in the Thomson Reuters ISI Web of Science, two articles in the scientific journals, and one article in peer-reviewed conference proceedings.
